Bristol Borough also is considering an online-only option for families that can’t or don’t want to send their children back to the classroom.

In Bristol Township, that could include a cyber academy for students whose families want an online educational option. The districts are still considering other options. Both the Bristol Borough and Bristol Township school superintendents announced plans Friday to reopen schools with hybrid learning systems, where students are split into two groups to allow some students to learn in the classrooms while others are learning at home, thereby allowing for more social distancing.
